Oh how time flies! It's already Wednesday again! And it's not just any Wednesday...It's a special Wednesday because it's my birthday! (No not my blog birthday, my real, actual birthday). So let's link up with Jamie @ This Kind of Love for What I'm Loving Wednesday and Michelle @ The Vintage Apple for Oh So Pinteresting Wednesday for a celebration extraordinaire!
Here is what I am loving this week:
I am loving that I got spend the whole Easter weekend with my family and my favorite boy. My sister, brother, and brother's girlfriend came home from Indy for the weekend, and we got to spend so much quality time together! We went shopping (twice), cooked and ate lots of food, had a bonfire, and enjoyed a few plenty of drinks! So much fun!
We celebrated my birthday and my brother's birthday along with Easter on Sunday.
He blew out the candles before I even got a chance! Haha
I am loving this cake! Haha
My mom made me countless Barbie cakes for my birthday... none recently. but when I was little that's what I always got! One time she even melted one in the oven so she was a little...droopy.
Pinterest finds of the week:
Any one that knows me, knows that I love batters. Any kind of batter really, not just cake. My mom, sister, and I always joke that we are going to have a "RAW" night, where we eat all kinds of stuff that is uncooked like cookie dough, cake batter, banana bread batter, etc. That will make a good post for another time! Anyways Pinterest and I seem to share a love for all things cake batter because there is so many different recipes for cake batter food. And there is no better day to share these things than my birthday!
My sister and I made this once together, and I made it this weekend simply because I didn't have anything else to do....OMG it is good!!! I was seriously hunched over the pan with a spoon eating it like cereal. It consists of Rice Chex, white chocolate, powdered sugar, and Funfetti cake mix. All you have to do is melt the chocolate. It is so easy! Click on the pic to take you to my Pinterest page, which will lead you to the link. (P.s. I gained 3 lbs. this weekend...I wonder why?)
This is cake batter dip. I made this for a Christmas party earlier in the year. You can use graham crackers, animal crackers, vanilla wafers, etc. to dip with. It consists of Funfetti cake mix, vanilla yogurt, and Cool Whip. And it tastes exactly like cake batter!
I have not tried these, but they look yummy!
Funfetti Cake cookies- I have not had these either but they look similar to a strawberry cake cookie that I made for Valentine's Day.
Funfetti bars- I am not really sure what these are. Maybe like a brownie or a blondie? Looks good to me!
Could be good! A little sweet and salty action.
And I know I am not 5 years old, and therefore too old to have these birthday parties, but how fun do these look!?!?!? Makes me wish I was 5 again!
