Thirsty Thursday

Happy Thursday!  It's the first full day of summer for me!  I better enjoy it because next week it will be back to work work work for some extra money.  Let's have a drink with  Trish @ Tales from Trish and Jenn @ Going to the Distance !

I had the hardest time finding a drink for today!  I finally came up with this.

Frozen Strawberry Lemonade.

I guess I'm the DD. Haha

Ingredients

• 2 cups frozen (or fresh) strawberries (about 24 strawberries)

• 1/2 cup crushed ice (or smallest cubes possible) 

• 1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh or bottled)

• 3 packets of sugar substitute or 2 Tablespoons of sugar (or to taste)

• 3/4 cup water (or I guess you could substitute vodka or white rum).

Hmmm now what to talk about?

I spent my first day of summer by the pool today.  It was so nice outside (it still is)!  I have to get my pool time in now before the heat wave this weekend!  It is supposed to get up to 98!

 

As I was sitting here, eating a fun size peanut butter cup and writing this post, I got a call for an interview on Tuesday!

I think I'm ready....I just bought a new interview outfit yesterday from The Limited.  They have the cutest stuff right now!  I probably tried on 10 different skirt/top combos!

Here is what I ended up with:

With a red, beaded necklace...I think it's a winner!

Now I just have to print off a couple more things for my portfolio, and review some interview questions (Does anyone else do this?  I feel like you have to be prepared with your answers!) and I'm ready to go!  BRING IT!
