Last day!

It's our last day here in Orlando...Booooo Hoooo!  Spring Break has come to an end, and we have to go back to real life on Monday. :-(  I have to say though, I do kind of miss my kiddos!  If only I could bring all 80+ kindergarteners down here with me! Wouldn't that be fuuny!

Yesterday afternoon, we went out to play tennis, which I have not played in a very long time! Like maybe since I was 9 or 10.  I have to say, I was not very good, but alas, ya can't win 'em all! ;-)  Thanks to my mom, we got some pretty good action shots!

We quit playing because we lost all of the balls, so then we had to go on an Easter egg hunt to find them all!

Today is a little cloudy, and I hope it doesn't rain (This is probably God's way of telling me I am getting a little crispy)!  Tonight we are heading out to eat somewhere with lots of tv's so we can watch the basketball games.  I am really pulling for Louisville!  We are an IU family through and through, so we definitely do not want Kentucky to win!

Who will you be routing for tonight?

Have a super day!

Hey Margarita!

Good morning friends!  Yesterday, we drove by Universal Studios and dreamed about all the fun being had inside the those fences.  NOT!  I cannot imagine the crowds during this time of year, and I am so glad that we decided to just hang out and not go to any parks!  It seems nightmare-ish to me!

There's a rollercoaster!

We went to a Mexican restaurant called Agave Azul.  Loved it!  The food was of the modern mexican variety, not your typical enchilada.  The decor made me feel like I was in a nightclub!

My mom ordered this GIANT burrito, and no she didn't eat it all.  We actually just ate the leftovers for breakfast! Haha.  I ordered chiles rellenos that were stuffed with tomatoes and goat cheese.  They were drizzled with some chipotle aioli and a balsamic reduction and served with toasted bread to spread it on.  See what I mean by modern?  I don't think I have ever been to a Mexican Restaurant that had a balsamic drizzle! I should have taken a pic of mine!

That was our waitress.  I think she thought I was trying to take a picture of her, when really I was trying to take a picture of the Mariachi band, and she got in the way... OOPS!

I don't know that I have ever seen a Mariachi band in real life.  At first they were annoying because you couldn't hear each other talk, but after a pitcher (or two) of margaritas, they were pretty fun!

Love the pants!

They even took requests!  My Dad requested Oye Como Va by Santana, which got the whole place moving!  Then someone else requested The Macarena, which of course we got up and did with them.  That place was lucky to have us last night!

My new friend! I am making lots of new friends on this trip!  He almost hit me in the head with his violin sticky thing (Oh a bow! That's what it's called) when I went up to take a picture with him.

How do you guys feel about Mariachi Bands?

Hasta Luego!  Adios!  Until tomorrow (in Spanish)!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone! This Wednesday I'm linking up with Jamie @ This Kind of Love for What I'm Loving Wednesday and  Michelle @ The Vintage Apple for Oh So Pinteresting Wednesday!- Spring Break style! P.s. It has only taken me all day to get this done!

Here is what I am loving on this beautiful Spring Break Wednesday:

I am loving Spring Break!  I thought I would have more time to blog this week, but the pool has been my priority...big surprise!

I am loving my new friends that I made today at the pool!  I won them over with some pretzel sticks...If only it was that easy in real life.

They had a little trouble getting the pretzels down, so they had to take a swig of water!

Later on, they swam around in the pool and attempted to make babies...but I didn't get a picture of that.  I always miss the good parts! Ha

I am loving our long-distance birthday celebration that we had last night!  My brother's birthday always falls during Spring Break.  Since we would usually be in Florida, he would get to pick where we ate that night, and he always chose Hooters.  This has been going on for years!  Well unfortunately, his Spring Break was earlier in the month, so he was unable to celebrate with us, but we still went to Hooters in honor of his birhtday!  I made a birthday sign to carry aroundwith us throughout the night.  We took a picture with the sign everywhere we went, and then sent him the picture.
At Hooters.

In the car.
In the elevator.
In the hot tub.
In the hot tub again.

We took other pictures as the night went on, but the later it got....you can fill in the rest.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDREW!

Here is what I am loving on Pinterest this week:
